The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is WRL's first project pursuing dual certification using the Green Globes and USGBC LEED rating system. Over 800 green building rating systems are in use internationally, with none specifically targeted at museums. It was decided early on that dual certification would be a good way for St. Mary's County to understand which system to use on future projects. After completion of the certification process, WRL will publish a white paper on its experience.
